She is immersed in a season of uncertainty, a shifting space of extreme highs and unprecedented lows. Wandering between the light and shadows, she is met with uneasiness, afraid of what's to come next. Amidst the silence of the in-between, she finds herself rushing through life — moving through moments quickly, always hoping for the next great height. Realizing that happiness cannot be chased, she begins to slow down — finding purpose in the present and meaning in the moments of what is here, what is now. Breathing in stillness, she's reminded of her capacity for joy, for there is beauty in even the smallest of things. And although her journey is not what she thought, she built a home for gratitude deep in her heart. She is grateful for the big moments, the small moments and everything in-between. She is grateful for every peak and for every valley. There is nothing more valuable than the present moment, it's where happiness thrives. For only when she stopped chasing mountains did she discover the beauty to be found, right here on the ground, in the midst of all her waiting. And that’s the power of a grateful heart — when you’re grateful for what you have, you’re able to give yourself grace for where you are.
